After I made up my mind to go back to Hong Kong, I already expected the long list of things that I need to taking care of, now the list's getting longer and longer because a series of unfortunate events.
Tonight, I've been stopped by Police while on my way to pick up MatMat from work, they said the driver (right) side of back light is burnt out, so I have to replace it, in addition, they have to do a check about my car and me as a regular procedure, so in this week, I need to bring my insurance, MOT certification and driving license to nearest police station. Luckily, I have to renew my tax disc this week, I just need to make a stop at police station to show them those documents. Trouble number one!
Second, I received a letter from the electricity company about my decision to switch to another energy provider, WTF?? I never said anything about leaving them, so I've to figure it out what happened, that mean some phone calls again, to see if someone forge my signature to switching provider for their commissions. Trouble number two!
Third, I wrote about it a few days ago, my iBook's broken HDD! I'll have to call AppleCare as it is under warranty, but, as I am leaving UK soon, I afraid it won't come back in time before I leave current address! What can I do? I need a laptop to backup my data! But if I send it to Apple what can I use for backup? I won't trust a external hard disk, as I need to get online as soon as I am in HK! So, I need to make a decision if I should send it back or take my own risk to change the HDD! And also, my phone XDA IIs has gone haywire, I needed to hard reset it when I am on my way back from Paris in the Eurostar, that means I need to reinstall everything, again! Trouble number three.
Forth, this is not something about me, seem the atmosphere in the house is very sad currently. My brother's female friend (I've to say this as he never confirmed his relationship with that girl) has gone back to her home country. And MatMat is a bit emotional about her work and leaving UK soon. You can really smell the sadness here. Trouble number four.
That's not it! I've more little things to do before I can leave UK, e.g. cleaning, bills to cancel, selling stuffs at ebay or local shops... and MUCH more! Gosh, I am going to take a break after settled in HK and let someone (actually my parent) to taking care of bills, and ALL household matters as before :P !
